This role is execution-focused and requires deep experience with routing, switching, and firewall administration.
This is not a NOC or monitoring-only role.
Candidates with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, especially automotive, are strongly preferred.Responsibilities Administer, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise routing and switching environments Support Cisco and Cisco Meraki network infrastructure (switching, wireless, security appliances) Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls, including policies, NAT, VPNs, and security rules Own network issues end-to-end, from investigation through resolution Respond to major network incidents on an as-needed basis Support production and business-critical systems with high uptime requirements Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps Collaborate with internal teams to maintain stable, secure network operations RequirementsStrong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching Strong experience with Cisco Meraki Solid Palo Alto firewall administration experience Strong understanding of: VLANs Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) VPNs Network security best practices Experience supporting enterprise or production environments Comfortable being the engineer who actually fixes the issue, not just escalates Preferred Experience Manufacturing, automotive, or industrial network environments Supporting plant or factory networks High-availability and redundancy designs Experience supporting
