Organize and supervise a series of regularly scheduled, ongoing activities utilizing school recreation facilities during non-school hours and summer vacation periods as scheduled by principal or designee. Education and/or Experience Graduate from high school or general education degree.Two to three months related experience and/or training.Language Skills Read and interpret procedures, policies and regulations, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisor, staff, and public.Reasoning Ability Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of non-standard situations.
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Other Skills and Abilities Lift and/or push 40 pounds.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOpen and close recreational facilities, i.e., gym, pool, multi-purpose area, locker rooms, as scheduled and ensure building security, appropriate play and responsible behavior.
Distribute and collect supplies and/or equipment for various activities.
Maintain clean, orderly storage areas for supplies and equipment.
Notify the site administrator or plant manager of incidents, problems, or concerns.
Perform other tasks and assume other responsibilities as the supervisor may assign.
