Brown and Joseph is seeking a Consumer Collections Specialist as we continue to grow our team! This position will be responsible for contacting consumers regarding outstanding insurance premiums, negotiating payment arrangements, and maintaining accurate records while upholding company standards and regulatory compliance.Job
Responsibilities: Contact consumers via phone, email, and mail regarding past-due accountsNegotiate payment plans in accordance with company policiesDocument all communications and account updates accuratelyAdhere to federal and state collection laws, including FDCPAMeet performance goals and maintain high customer service standardsJob
Requirements: Previous collections or customer service experience preferredStrong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to remain professional and empathetic during challenging conversationsBasic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systemsBilingual skills are a plus, but not mandatory/requiredCompensation and
