As a Member Matching Specialist, you will be the first human touchpoint for new members, setting the tone for their experience, understanding their needs, and connecting them with the right expert.
This is not a clinical or therapeutic role.
You are a trusted guide and navigator: warm, confident, and skilled at helping people feel understood and well taken care of from the very first conversation.What You'll DoMember Intake & MatchingConduct 30-minute matching sessions with new members via video or phoneAssess member needs, goals, and preferences through thoughtful conversationSelect the best-fit expert from our network based on what you learnCoordinate a warm handoff to the matched expert, ensuring continuity and contextTriage & NavigationSupport members through the full activation process — walking them step by stepthrough getting started on the platformFacilitate rematching if an initial pairing isn't the right fitMember Education & OnboardingProvide a clear, confident overview of what OurRitual offers and how we workAddress frequently asked questions, including how to explain our model within aregulatory contextSet accurate expectations so members feel informed, comfortable, and ready to engageWho You AreYour most important quality is your ability to make people feel at ease.
You are naturally charismatic and warm, and you instinctively know how to build trust quickly — especially with people who may be navigating something vulnerable or new.You have:A clinical background or training in a relevant field is preferred but full licensure is not required — we welcome candidates who are earlier in their clinical journey, including graduate students in social work, counseling, MFT, or related programs, who bring the right combination of training, empathy, and communication skillsStrong communication skills — you can explain complex or sensitive topics clearly and confidentlyComfort working within a regulatory and compliance-sensitive environmentA detail-oriented approach to handoffs and documentationExcellent time management and organizational skillsSchedule & StructureThis is a part-time, hourly role with flexible scheduling across our coverage window of 9 AM– 11 PM Eastern Time.
We ask that candidates make a minimum of 15 hours per weekavailable, with at least 8 of those hours falling within our high-demand slots.Based on member activity, our peak demand is strongly evening-biased.
