Role:We are seeking a Senior SQL / ETL Engineer, for a project based assignment, to support data migration, transformation, and database operations initiatives for one of our clients.

This role will focus heavily on SQL development, ETL-related workflows, data loading, stored procedures, and large-scale data cleanup and manipulation efforts.The ideal candidate is highly hands-on with SQL and comfortable working directly with engineering and business teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across multiple systems.Key

Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scriptsLoad, transform, and validate large datasets within SQL Server environmentsSupport ETL-related workflows, including data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and migration activitiesPerform data cleanup and manipulation tasks to improve overall data quality and consistencyTroubleshoot SQL performance issues and optimize complex queriesCollaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver accurate solutionsAssist with ongoing database maintenance and operational support activitiesEnsure data integrity, validation, and reconciliation across systemsCreate and maintain technical documentation related to database and ETL processesRequired

Qualifications:Strong hands-on SQL development experienceExperience working with SQL Server environmentsAdvanced SQL query writing and optimization experienceExperience developing and maintaining stored proceduresExperience with ETL processes and data migration activitiesStrong experience with data manipulation, cleanup, and transformationExperience loading and validating data within relational database environmentsAbility to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues independentlyStrong attention to detail and data accuracyExcellent communication and collaboration skillsNice to Have:Experience writing lightweight automation scripts using Python, Bash, JavaScript, or similar languagesExperience supporting SQL-based data migration and transformation workflowsExperience supporting enterprise data migration initiativesExperience working within consulting or client-facing environmentsExposure to reporting or BI toolsEmployment Type:ContractRemote within US*Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
