Commercial Foreman - San Antonio, TX

We are seeking to add Foreman to our team in San Antonio TX Our ideal Foreman is highly skilled and experienced individual with in-depth knowledge.

Someone who possess strong leadership management abilities to oversee teams of electricians, ensuring efficient project execution.

We want a foreman who is technically proficient, holds the necessary licenses and certifications, and demonstrates problem solving abilities.

Requirements: Active TX TDLR journeyman electrical license OR master (Required)Active TX ID or DL (Required) Reliable Transportation

Experience: Minimum of 1+ years documented field work in the commercial industryProven work experience as an Electrical Foreman or a similar supervisory role.Experience: Able to manage 5 to 30 menSize of Projects: $10,000K - $15MTravel: Willing to travel as neededPunctuality: Punctual, motivated and detail orientedSuperior communication.

Possess strong interpersonal skills to work in a diverse and fast-paced environmentAble to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime as requiredNote: This is a local Position (on site in San Antonio).

Responsibilities/Skills: Organizational: Must be organized, plan and coordinate work ahead of time.Management: Manage each project effectively by ensuring that all materials, tools equipment and job information are on the jobsite.Respect: Treat client with the highest degree of respect and work to develop a partnership environment.Troubleshooting: Investigate and problem solve to determine the most efficient way to install changes to existing service.Teamwork: Work as a team member by assisting others where needed and following a neat and process-oriented work style.Time Management: Be efficient with your time and materials while ensuring top quality electrical installations.Communication: Ability to communicate effectively on any issues or room for improvementcoordinating with team members, clients, and other stakeholdersManaging Material: Responsible for managing and maintaining all tools and materials.Detail orientated: Attention to detail/ProjectsProfessionalism: Handle every client request with professionalismEstimate the general amount of time and material to complete service tasks, considering the needs and manpower requirementsAble to work from all type ladders (step ladders up to 14’, “A” frame ladders, and all size extension ladders and carry and relocate up to 12’ step ladders by oneselfAble to perform work at various heights, up to 90’ from ladders.

Scaffold, aerial lifts, cat walks or other safe work areas.Able to work in restricted areas (Switchgear room, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics)Always wear personal protective equipment (hard hat and safety glasses).Capability:Lift 51 pounds, 20 times per dayRepetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers and constantly moving your feetClimb ladders (all types)Supervising and coordinating the activities of electricians and ensuring high-quality installationsEnsuring all electrical work complies with the strictest safety standards and regulationsManaging project schedules to ensure timely completion and adherence to budgets.Training and mentoring junior electricians and promoting continuous learning within the team.Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.Inspecting electrical work for quality assurance and customer satisfaction.Troubleshooting complex electrical problems effectively and efficiently.Staying updated with the latest electrical technologies and practices to enhance team capabilities.

In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and the National Electrical Code.Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and blueprints.Strong leadership and project management skills to lead a team of electricians.Effective problem-solving abilities to address and resolve work-related issues.Additional certifications may be beneficial, such as OSHA safety training or specialized electrical system training.
