Position Summary Talarico for Texas seeks an Advance Associate.
The Advance Associate is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the logistical and operational details of campaign events prior to candidate arrival.
This role ensures events run smoothly, efficiently, and professionally by managing onsite setup, vendor coordination, volunteer operations, livestream logistics, and event execution.
Advance Associates serve as the operational backbone of campaign events and work closely with campaign leadership, communications, security, and field teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Advance Manager in planning and executing campaign events statewideTravel ahead of events to assist with venue setup and logistics coordinationCoordinate with local organizers, volunteers, vendors, and venue staffAssist with staging, signage, campaign materials, and event presentationProvide on-site support to ensure events run smoothly and on scheduleHelp support candidate travel logistics, movements onsite, and event specific materialsTroubleshoot operational issues and communicate updates to the Advance ManagerRequirementsQualificationsPrevious campaign or political advance experience preferred but not required Ability to adapt quickly and solve problems independentlyStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to multitask and work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environmentsExcellent verbal and written communication skills1–3 years of experience in political campaigns, event coordination, field organizing, government, or operationsPhysical & Travel RequirementsAbility to lift and move campaign materials and event equipment up to 30–50 poundsFrequent in-state travel and occasional overnight travel requiredAbility to stand for extended periods during campaign events and advance workBenefitsReports to: Advance ManagerLocation: Austin, Texas (statewide travel required)Salary: $5,000 per monthBenefits: Health care, paid time off, sick leaveEqual Opportunity PolicyTalarico for Texas is an equal opportunity employer.
