Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, this strategic role is responsible for overseeing and accelerating the full sales lifecycle—from targeted business development and strategic account acquisition to effective pipeline management and deal execution.
The Director will operate within defined markets, focusing on leveraging Verisys' position as the leader in credentials verification to secure new business and expand relationships with existing clients.Duties/Responsibilities:Cold calling, prospecting, generating leads, creating pipelines, and qualifying leadsMoving pipelines across all sales cycles and effectively maintain pipeline of at least 2-3x total goalClose at least $1.5 Million in business each year Upselling current business with Account Managers and VP of SalesAttend tradeshows Work leads Run demos of our platforms and presentations for potential leadsDevelop and refine sales strategies and messaging that specifically address the compliance, data quality, and operational challenges faced by healthcare organizations regarding provider data.Ability to build rapport and credibly consult with senior-level compliance, quality, and credentialing officers.
Required Skills/Abilities:Proven work experience as a Senior Sales role, Director of Sales, or similar roleIn-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as self motivated and drivenStrong working knowledge of the company’s products, competitive products and the marketExcellent communication, interpersonal, self-motivated, and customer service skillsGreat strategic planning, organizational and creative thinking skillsSales and Business Development skillsPreferable HubSpot, LinkedIn, and Seamless AI knowledge or similar software experience Tradeshows experience preferred with strong ability for pre and post show reachoutExperience collaborating with Account Management team to upsell current client baseProven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets; experience closing at least 1.5mil annually in new businessStrong communication and negotiation skillsEducation/Experience: Required: High school diploma or equivalent3-5 years of experience in full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery call, demo/presentation, pricing, contracting, and implementationExperience in the healthcare industryPreferred: Healthcare data and credentialing experience Verisys product familiarityVerisys transforms provider data, workforce data, and relationship management.
